Grandma Connie Passes Away

The boys' great grandma passed away April 17, 2010. She liked to comment on how much Adam was growing each time she saw him. Thank you so much to my kind and loving parents who took care of her in their home for the last 18 months of her life.

Hard working returned missionary

My brother, Spence, who recently returned home from his mission, is a VERY hard worker. He has been doing some painting for us. Not only is he a hard worker, but he is a great problem solver. He built this platform to go over the stairs so he could paint the wall above our stairs. Matthew was just itchin' to try it, but the cautious mom in me wouldn't allow it! Thanks, Spence. We appreciate all your help.

Oscar the Grouch or Groucho Marx?

At our last pack meeting we cleaned up trash around the church. I thought it would be cute to serve Oscar the Grouch cupcakes. However, none of the kids recognized my artistic work! Sadly, once we told them who the cupcakes were supposed to represent, they still said, "Who's that?" What is this world coming to when children don't know characters from Sesame Street?? As a side note, frosting faces do not adhere very well to coconut. Oh well, I had fun creating them!

A day at Baker Caves.

Its time for a snack break!!

Baby in the Freezer

Before Adam was born, we thought it would be a great idea to give Matthew a baby doll to play with to get him accustomed to the idea of a baby in the house. It was not well received. Today we found the baby in the freezer. Thankfully, it wasn't the real baby!!! Matthew actually really and truly loves his little brother. He loves to play with him.

Adam - Eleven Months old! Almost walking...

It is so fun to see the growth and change from month to month of a child during their first year of life! I was hoping Adam would leave the sign alone and walk towards me with his new wobbly steps.

New Freshman Class President for 2010-2011

Evan had a little more competition this year. His running mate was a cute girl! (She is

on his left.) The gal on his right is his vice president and the young lady on Evan's far left is his secretary. Congratulations Evan!

Easter Weekend

WOW! This was the sight we saw from our front windows Saturday, April 3, but now a week later, there are only patches of snow left. But the wind is always present!! (The wind tore our safety enclosure apart last year.)
